Dear Family,
I cant
believe that it is already Monday. The time goes by so fast I cant even keep
track anymore. The days have blended and I don't feel like I even am asleep for
more then 10 Minutes and then its time for the next day to start even though i
just got 6 to 8 hours of sleep. I am so glad to be here serving a mission here
in Argentina. I had a last week and had a really hard time shifting one reality
hit that, That I wasn't in Kansas anymore... Not that I wanted to leave but that
I missed my family and friends so much. Then I talked to the zone leaders which
is my companion and the other elder training Elder Paskett from the MTC and
things are good and have been for that past couple days. I have been really
studying the life of Christ and want to become closer to him because I know it
will help with my Confidence, Confidence with the language, my abilities, and
teaching. Just in general and its a good thing to do anyway.
We found 21 new investigators in the past week, but people here are laid back and none are
progressing because they haven't attended church. Its hard knowing how they feel
and what they think due to me not knowing the language. I know that the Gift of Tongues is real and has blessed me so much. I just pray that the language keeps
coming and i can understand more. I love this work and the things that i am
able to do here. I am being molded by Jesus Christ For 2 YEARS and am going to
come home as a polished diamond, still never perfect but a great diamond. I am
excited to see the growth that will happen for me. I am so glad to serve the
people here and be apart of this amazing work that happens here. The people are
so humble and the poor give all they have to help feed us and help us out. I am
so excited to be able to fully communicate with them.
I love you all and
pray that you will be blessed.
Elder Paynter gave me a Dog tag that has the Pray of
Salvation and Joshua 1 verse 9
it says
US MARINE
I will be strong and courageous
I will not be terrified or discouraged
for the Lord my God is with me
wherever I go
I love this dog tag and i have
had in on ever since he gave it to me. but instead of us marine, I'm a LDS
MISSIONARY.
Know the lord is always there
for us and blesses our lives. I Love You

Hello, See attachment.
When I talked with Ethan on Sept.9th while he waited at the
airport to leave for Argentina, he asked if I’d received his last handwritten
letter. I said I’d gotten one when he first arrived at the MTC, but not
recently. He said he mailed another one, so I waited and waited and it
never arrived! I’ve been pretty sad about that because I love getting the
boy’s letters! Two weeks have passed and I figured it was lost somewhere
from Provo to Cedar Hills. Last night a neighbor knocked at the door and
he said he got some mail of mine in his mail box! I had to keep myself
from snatching right out of his hands! He had to explain the whole story
and how his mail landed in someone else’s and….I’m thinking, GIVE IT TO
ME! He did and then he wanted to chat. Well I had to be polite, but
I wanted to shut the door and open my letter! I was so stinkin`
excited! ….. made me wonder why the guy held it for 2 WEEKS….but I’ll
suppress that! Haaa
I don’t send it to you to read to make it all about me, but to
make it all about him and his testimony and growth as a person. I am so
proud of him and glad he is working on his own conversion and testimony and
with that help other people to come unto Christ. Morgan has a year ahead
of this growth curve and I’m so very happy and proud of him too! These
boys have blessed this family and the family can bless them by writing them
and supporting their efforts.
Thanks Ethan! Thanks Morgan!
Love you,
Mom
