Dear Family,
Well to start of the letter with a crazy story...
We passed by for an investigator and he wasn't there
so my next plan was to passed by for a house that a kid had said "Hi
Elders" so we went to the house and there was a guy knocking on the door,
saying let me in, let me in. Then he saw us and said let me in, let me in,
there are two guys approaching me! then he said open the door and told us to
come over. As we got a little closer we stopped as he lifts up his right pant
leg and shows us a mark of four red dots on his leg. He said that someone
stabbed him with a Fork, and as he said that someone came out side. Then the
two guys start pushing each other and the one who got stabbed pulled out a
Revolver (hand gun) and told the other guy to leave and threw a bike at him and
told him to leave. the other guy wasn't leaving... As that was happening, we
were just watching as we stood there shocked. Then we started backing up and
then left.
That was quite the experience for me, knowing that we
were so very much protected by our Heavenly Father in this experience. Nothing
happened to us and we just kept on our way. I know that the Lord protects his
missionaries and his children.
We found a new investigator named Ignasio. As we
finished sharing the message of the Restoration, he basically wanted to take
the Pamphlet out of our hands to read it. He asked if he could have it to read
it, which we were planning on giving it to him anyway. He wants to know more
and he was so excited to hear the message and he wants to know if its true. The
down side is, we haven't been able to find him all week....
Can you pray that we can find him and have contact, and pray
for these names please...
Ignasio, Evelyn, Roberto, Ilen and ester.
I was listening to a talk called "Count your
blessing" by Thomas S. Monson, in the Oct. 2012 of General Conference.
When it talked about the young man who went on the mission because of all the
prayers of his family. Well that part made me think about all the people who
were praying for me to get me on the mission, because i wasn't planning on going
at all, and then one day came and it changed in the snap of the fingers. Thank
you for all of you who prayed for me!
