Ethan's 47th Letter - Nechochea, Argentina 12-1-14

   Happy Birthday Morgan and Annie!!!!!

I can not believe that its already December, I have no idea where time has gone, but its going somewhere. I hope that everyone has a great Month as its time to start thinking of our Lord and Savior.

So Mailén was almost Baptized Saturday..... but her Mom came in and made it complicated. So Mailén is 17 years old, 18 in February, and we finished teaching her the lesson and we started talking about Baptism again and invited her to pray. A couple hours later we saw her at the house of a members and she ran out a said, " I want to be baptized!!!" its was so awesome!  The next day we went to Mailéns house and her mom came and and wanted to talk, so we talked with her and as a great mother that she is, she wanted to wait to have the Baptism... She wants to be more involved.... but the things is for me, if she wanted to be more involved, she would have gone to church with her the last month... so i think its just an excuse... So we will be working with Mailén and her Mom so that they can agree on Mailén being baptized! Please pray for them!

We had a lesson with a women named Mirium, she is awesome and really wants to go to church but she is taking care of her step dad who has Parkinson Disease.... She has to change him, bath him, feed him, etc... and his own biological kids don't
even help... and the live next door... Any way we are working with her so that she can get to church again and be BAPTIZED!!! She is awesome and will be such a great Member! We are praying a lot for her so that she can get the help she needs to take care of her Step Dad. When we were with them we pray, I went first, then my companion, and then her, and then we waited a couple seconds to just sit and feel the spirit. It was there so Strong testifying that she she be Baptized! she still has some doubts but we are working with that.

I know that our Loving Father in Heaven hears our prays and wants the best for us. I know that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, I know that I Love being a missionary and sharing his Gospel with the World!

I love your all so much!

Con Amor,

   HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAAATHAAAAA DAVE!!!!!
I know its after but the feeling was still there, and for your birthday i had that ASADO or BBQ with that family and we ate Lamb!!! its was very delicious!!! haha I Love you David!
Yeah with the Asado/BBQ that we had, i ate Lamb for the first time(or at least that i remember). The Lamb was really good! also I ate something that Morgan one told me was called like this, "Rocky Mountain Oysters" or Bull Testicles.... haha its was a very interesting experience, it was pretty good but just weird because my brain was thinking of what it was. haha sorry for the TMI.
Also we did a lot of service this week, we help cut down Hedges for two different members. One we trimmed and made it look good, and what not, and the other we just took out completely! It was a lot of work but it was pretty fun doing it.
So Sunday Morning came around and we went to look for some investigators to walk with them to church. We found Emmanuel and we walked to church with him, its like 2 miles one way haha When we got the our other Investigator Mailén showed up with her friend who is a member. She can be baptized this weekend we just need to see how she feels, she a little shy but all will work out well. We have a FHE with her tonight. The Sacrament meeting started and out of no where an Ex investigator showed up for the first time and said she loved it and will be coming the next week! it was hard to drop her a couple weeks ago, but apparently she realized that we mean business! haha It was such a great blessing from the Lord. I have developed a huge love for Church and mainly for the Sacrament, it is a blessing! Well that was the week... haha

I Love you all!!!!!

  Dear Family,
This week passed by pretty slow... we were working a lot!!!! The problems we found is that we taught a lot but we didn't find many new investigators, and the people we had we couldn't get a hold of them. Our Investigator Mailén went to church but in Mar Del Plata which is another city with her friend Stephania who is a member, they both went to visit Stephanias family. We also didn't have much contact with Mailén, becuase she got pretty sick and got stuck in bed. Pray for her so that she can be baptized on the 29th of November.

We had a Zone Conference with Pres. Parreño, his wife, and the Assistants, the whole conference was about Baptizing, retaining, and reactivating the less active. It was pretty good, other part of the Conference was based on that Talk the Consecrated Missionary that i told you about the last week. Haha

I gave a talk in church about the a talk given in General Conference in 2012 by  Bishop Richard Egley or something, it went really well. I found a scripture in Alma 5:14 that i liked a lot. Nothing much more happened in my week.... haha

Just Read this and know i love you all so much!!!!
