Aloha my Dear Family and Love Ones!
Its weird to think i
only will be writing home a couple more times before my mission is over, and I'm
flying home to see you all. I come home in a little over 2 weeks! It has flown
by super fast, you have no idea!! This week flew by super duper fast! I'm still
trying to remember everything that happen. Good thing its all written down in
my Journal, because i have a super bad memory when I'm trying to think of all
the things I did the week before.
We had a really cool experience getting a Referral from
Mormon.org. The Referral Said to Bring a King James Version of the Bible to a
Lady named On'e. So we find her house and knock on her door. On'e said
that her Bible got stolen this last week along with a few other things in a
house robbery. On'e said she couldn't talk because she was in a hurry because
she was rushing to the Hospital. We asked her who she was visiting, and she
told us her Nephew is having Open Heart Surgery that night, and she was gonna
go be their to support. We gave her the Bible, and asked if we could pray for
Her, and the Nephew. I say the prayer, and what a special experience it was for
me, as a Servant of God, to ask for blessings of Comfort, Peace, and Healing
upon this Women and the Nephew. Its always special to get to pray with people
on the Streets, its always my favorite thing to do. Instantly the Spirit was
there with us on the Doorstep. She thanked us fervently for the Prayer, and said
we could stop by her house again sometime. What a sweet experience!
On Thursday Night we picked up a Mini Missionary. His name
is Elder Ryan Davis, he was set apart as a missionary. He is 17 years old, and
is going to be a senior this coming year. He came with us for 4 days, he slept
at our house, studied with us, and was with us the whole day. So its kind of a glimpse of what a real mission is like. It was a really cool experience to have
him along with us, and see the awesome example he is.
LJ's Baptism is still good for this coming Saturday at 9 AM,
pray for him and the family that all will go well, and their wont be any
complications. Elder Morco is supposed to be baptizing him, and we have his
final lesson, and interview this week!
For P-Day today we went to Ka'ena Point, It is the most West
Tip of the Island, and it borders with Makakilo Zone, and our zone. I actually
went their the 2nd week on my mission, but we got there from a different trail
from the other side of the island, nearly 2 years ago now. So going to the same
place brought back a lot of fun memories. While there i wrote my name in the
sand with white rocks. Going on the sand was okay, because the Sand was NOT
connected to the ocean. It was really fun, but i sure got sunburned from being
out for so long!
